The night

Manchester's council fireworks are back for the first time since 2019, at Heaton Park and two other parks on the same night.

Heaton Park has long been home to north Manchester's biggest display, and it's an easy tram ride from town.

Through the evening there's a funfair, a food and drink village, family entertainment and Z-arts storytelling from 3pm to 5pm. Times are approximate and can change, so check before you set off.

  • 3pmGates open, Z-arts storytelling till 5pm
  • 5pmReduced-noise, low-impact fireworks
  • 7pmLantern parade
  • 8pmMain fireworks, set to music
